Hoop Barriers

About Hoop Barriers

Hoop barriers are a type of metal safety barrier that can be found in almost every country in the world. Typically, they are cylindrical structures installed in urban environments to control pedestrian or vehicle access. Barrier hoops are designed for a range of use cases, from walkway barriers and perimeter barriers (like the kind you’d see around the carpark of a car showroom) to delineating pedestrian walkways in urban areas. Their versatility and strong design make them a popular choice for improving safety and organisation in both public and commercial spaces.

Hooped perimeter barriers can also act as an anti-terrorism feature, deterring unauthorised vehicle access. They are often used to protect storefronts, outdoor seating areas, and other pedestrian spaces from potential threats, especially in warehouse and factory environments that see a lot of vehicular traffic. Their installation shows a commitment to public safety and conscious urban planning, making them a popular choice for municipalities, property managers, and business owners.
