JSP Pioneer Rope & Grab Kit FAR1105

The Pioneer rope and grab fall arrest kit is a premium kit that combines several JSP fall safety pieces of equipment into a convenient package. This kit includes the following items: a Pioneer 2-point Quick Release Fall Arrest Harness FAR0209, a 10m rope and grab kit FAR0810, a Webbed Anchorage Sling FAR0504 and a quality JSP rucksack that holds the whole kit together in transit.

The Pioneer Harness included in this kit is an upgrade over the standard Pioneer 2-point harness as it incorporates quick-release buckles at both the leg and chest connections. This makes taking the harness off and on again a process that is further assisted by the colour coding of leg and arm loops. With adjustable shoulder straps, leg loops and chest strap this harness offers more adjustability than other harnesses.

To complete the kit, a 10m long rope and grab with fall arrester is included; this Kernmental rope has several features to prolong its lifespan, including a thimble reinforced loop and stitched and sleeved rope ends. The grab on the rope is non-openable and offers quick and secure fall protection. You can use the included anchorage sling to create an anchor point by looping it around a suitable structure, such as scaffolding.

Thimble Reinforced Loop

The non-adjustable end of this lanyard features a thimble that reduces wear and stress on the rope, extending the life of the lanyard.

Maximum 10m Length

This restraint works at a maximum length of 10m and is adjustable down to around 60cm with the rope protector in place.

Non-openable Aluminium Rope Grab

This grab locks onto the rope whenever a load is placed onto the attachment point. This mechanism facilitates instant repositioning with little effort whilst working.

12mm Kernmantle Rope

A high-quality rope that, with proper maintenance and inspection, is suitable for daily use in all weather conditions.

Screw Gate Connectors

Each end of this lanyard features a screw gate connector, ensuring that anchoring connections stay securely fastened.

Sleeved End Protection

Protective sleeving protects the stitching at the end loop and ensures that the stop knot at the rope's end remains tight and has not been tampered with.

Shock Absorber

Included in this system is a shock absorber that reduces the impact felt by the user if a fall should occur. The shock absorber is neatly contained in a plastic sleeve to protect against abrasion.

2m Long Anchorage Sling

20mm wide polyester webbing, with a 20kN breaking strength. Ideal for looping around structures to form an anchorage point. Conforms to EN 795:2012 Type B.
